Biography

Augustin Paré was born on 3 Feb 1826 and was baptized the next day in Sainte-Rose-de-Lima parish in Laval. He was the son of Joseph Pare and Louise Labelle of this parish. Godparents at Augustin's baptism were Jean Paré and Josephte Andgrave. At age 23 Augustin married first wife Zoe Daigneau on 13 Feb 1849 in Saint-Clément parish in Beauharnois. There was one child, a daughter Adele, born into this marriage. At age 25 Augustin married second wife Esther Laferriere on 3 Mars 1851 in Saint-Clément parish. There were five children born into this marriage. Augustin died at age 51 on 18 Aug 1877 im Beauharnois. .
