Biography

Was a farmer and machinist, served in the Civil War and drew a pension. Married first, Eliza Bride, who died in Worcester Married second, Jennie Ware, who out-lived him.

Corp George E Patch. Co. H, 57th Massachusetts Infantry

George enlisted in Company H, Massachusetts 57th Infantry Regiment on 11 Jan 1864 and was promoted to Corporal on 01 Mar 1864. He mustered out on 25 Mar 1865.

He transferred to Company K, U.S. Veteran Reserve Corps 10th Infantry Regiment on 25 Mar 1865 and mustered out on 14 Sep 1865.
