Private Walter Patchin served with 5th New York Regiment, Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Walter Patchen served for New York during the American Revolution. His service description states he served under Captains Silas Gray, Joseph Harrison, Gideon King & Colonel Marinus Willett. Iin 1840, it was recorded that he was receiving a pension. [1] [2]

Walter Patchin married Mrs. Irena Sprague Aug 5 1784 in Ballston Center, Saratoga, New York at First Church at Ballston. [3] [4] [5]

Walter Patchin married second Sarah Peirson/Pierson Jun 14 1791 in Ballston Center, Saratoga, New York at First Church at Ballston. [6] [7]

In 1830 they lived in Howard, Steuben, New York. [8]
