Biography

I was born In 1949, in Toronto, Ontario, my father, George, was 45 and my mother, Alice, was 37. I have two brothers and three sisters. My working career started with Lion Oil gas station, which changed to Fina and then to Petro-Canada. Left there and went to Moyer's School Supplies where I met my future wife. My next stop was Dominion Stores in the warehouse where I was shop Stewart and was elected to the grievance and negotiating committees. I married Sharron Anne Cole on May 3, 1975, in Toronto and moved to Brampton Ontario. Stayed at Dominion (which changed to A&P and then to Metro) for 11 years. Started my own Video business after leaving Dominion and now live in Toronto. I have two great sons.

Hi John

If you could accept the three trusted list requests I made last week that would be much appreciated. They were for Thomas Luxton 1654-1710, Peter Luxton 1610-1661 and Scipio Luxton 1575-1641.

Thanks Mark

Hi!

How are you? I'm Shirley, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Do you have Royal Ancestors? Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

And I'm here to help too, just ask!

Shirley ~ WikiTree Mentor

John, you are now a member of WikiTree! Please help us build one Collaborative Global Family Tree, which means only one profile per person. It's important that no duplicates are created and profiles are properly sourced.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info.

To help you get started, view this introductory WikiTree video.

We also have Mentors who will be glad to answer questions.

Thanks for volunteering and welcome to the Tree!

Bill

My name is John Paterson and I will volunteer to contribute. I'm in my sixties now and mad at myself for not listening enough to my parents about my family so I'm on a mission for information. Feel free to contact me.
