Hey Jennifer,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hi Jennifer!

I review all the GEDCOMs that are submitted for import and I noticed you have many of the same Babbs that are in my line! I'm guessing we're related somehow. What Babbs do you come down through?

I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'. Also I see where you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a Project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.

Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. You are now a member of the WikiTree community.

Please note we are trying to build one collaborative tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the Help section or head over to the G2G forum. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)

Hello,

Welcome to WikiTree as a guest ! If you are just looking for family or other researchers working on the same names as yours, use the surname search function at the top of the profile page or ask at G2G Forum

If you would like to enjoy the benefits of being a full member, leave us a message here letting us know. If you just want to be a guest, that's ok too but please let us know what you would like to do.

Once we see a message on your profile stating why you want to be a part of our collaborative genealogical community, one of our greeters will confirm you . Enjoy this video done by one of our members about WikiTree video WikiTree
