Cape Girardeau, Missouri Probate Records 1750-1998 Probates, 1821-1837, Vol.A-D p.272 Record of the Proceedings of the Probate Court Thursday , 4th day of the term December 22, 1825 Estate of David Patterson, deceased Robert Patterson one of the admistrators of said estate, for himself and the other administrator came and now filed their notice of final settlement, he presents their statement for settlement and here file three vouchers for payments made amounting to eight dollars which are allowed. The full amount of said estate after payment of all debts, charges, etc. is sixteen hundred and fifteen dollars which is the amount the said heirs of the said deceased are entitled to each share is one hundred and seventy dollars and forty four and one third cents and from said statement and receipts it appears that Robert Patterson, Andrew Patterson and John Patterson have each received their full shares James Patterson has received one hundred and forty one dollars and twenty six and three fourth cents, Margaret Taylor One hundred and fifty eight dollars and twenty eight and one fourth cents Hugh Criswell one hundred and seventy seven dollars and twenty-three cents Samuel Pew two hundred and forty five dollars and thirty cents, the heirs of David Patterson, Jr., deceased one hundred and three dollars and four cents the heirs of Elizabeth Byrd, deceased two hundred and twenty-five dollars Some of the heris have not received their full share-The administrators are ordered to pay up the deficiencies-some others of the heirs have been overpaid-they are ordered to refund the same-and the administrators aforesaid are discharged from making annual settlements hereafter and from their said administration.
