George Patterson was enumerated at 85th District, Union County, Georgia for the October 23, United States Census, 1850. He was noted as born 1800 in North Carolina and a farmer with $1000 of value in real estate as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male William Patterson, female Elizer Patterson, male John Patterson, male Elijah Patterson and female Margaret Patterson.^[1]
