An obituary was printed in the Hardwick Gazette on 18 December 1919:[1]

Charles Patterson
Charles Patterson, a respected citizen of Walden, passed away Sunday evening, December 7th. He had been in declining health and was unable to do any work for the past eight years. Charles Patterson was the only son of Isaac and Laura [Locke] Patterson. He was born in Walden in 1845, being 74 years old at his decease. On May 13, 1868, he married Delia Rollins of Potton, P.Q., who has very tenderly cared for him in his years of almost helplessness. To them were born two sons, Henry, who died at the Patterson homestead in 1914, and Roy, with whom he has made his home for several years. Mr. and Mrs. Patterson were the kindest of neighbors; ready to help all in trouble. The funeral was held at the M.E. church, Tuesday, p.m. Interment was at the North Walden cemtery. Among those from out of town to attend the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rollins of Barre, Will Rollins of Greensboro Bend, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sawyer of St. Johnsbury Center, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rogers of Cabot, John and George Richardson of Greensboro, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Richardson of North Walden. An only sister, Mrs. Minda Richardson, of Rutland, who had very recently visited him, was not present at the funeral. The family, and especially Mrs. Patterson, have the sympathy of their neighbors and friends.

This entry sites findagrave.com but does not add the children from findagrave. How do I remove all my information from this site? Like everything any entries I have added. It makes no sense for me to use this as a resource or add to it I can't even connect to my ancestors.

I did not add all the children as I wasn't following this line further. You're welcome to connect additional children if you'd like. I can also add you to the trusted list for this profile as you're clearly related. The privacy setting for the profile for Charles' son Isaac is such that I can't connect them. You'll have to add Charles as Isaac's father, or change the privacy setting on the profile's privacy tab.

How can you use Find a grave for a source but then not follow the logical trail? I don't think this site is very useful.

I'm not understanding your comment. What logical trail have we missed? The parents, spouse and children are those listed in the obituary. Please advise where the errors are.
