Biography

Howel Patterson was enumerated as son of the head of household at Lower Young Cane, Union County, Georgia for the April 25, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1908 in Georgia and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James A Patterson, wife Rosilla Patterson, son Simion Patterson, son Howard Patterson, son Harden Patterson, daughter Ellen Patterson, son Milton Patterson, daughter Maude Patterson and son John Patterson.[1]

Thomas H Patterson was enumerated as son of the head of household in Lower Young Cane, Union County, Georgia for the January 21, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1909 in Georgia and single. He was a laborer (home farm) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James A Patterson, wife Rozilla D Patterson, son Howard K Patterson, daughter Laura E Patterson, son James M Patterson, daughter Gracy M Patterson, son John L Patterson and son Earnest C Patterson.[2]

Howel Patterson was enumerated as son of the head of household at Lower Young Cane, Union County, Georgia for the April 21, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1910 in Georgia and single. He was dumping carts (durt dam) as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James A Patterson, wife Rozillia Patterson and son Ernest C Patterson.[3]

On April 1, 1935, Howell Patterson lived in rural Union County, Georgia.[4]

Howell Patterson was enumerated as son of the head of household in Militia District 1050, Union County, Georgia for the April 11, United States Census, 1940. He was noted as born 1910 in Georgia and single. He was a farm laborer as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James E Patterson, son John Patterson and son Ernest Patterson.[4]

Pvt Howell Thomas Patterson is buried at Bethlehem Cemetery in Union County, Georgia, USA.[5]
