Biography

Sallie Vanmeter Patterson was born 1 December 1858, the daughter of Robert Patterson and Harriet Lucy Patterson.^[1]

Sarah is also known as Sallie VanMeter Patterson in at least one of History book . I just need to re-find it in my stacks of downloaded papers . They show she married a William L. King . in Pleasants County^[2] and then moved to Washington D.C.

Likewise, my wife Sheila, her great grandaughter, has Sally "V" as a name that was used to refer to her from her daughter Virginia T, and her grandaughter Virginia Ruth
