Hello Vivian. With just the first names of your Patterson's just wanted to throw this out there . Both Robert and Catherine/Katherine were very common first names in my line of Patterson's . It's a very tough line to trace due to just how many there are. Sometimes three or four individuals with the same names within 50 mile radius. Mostly cousin's, uncles/aunts and brother's. Sometimes more than one son carried the the first name Robert. Good luck in your search. If you know the area they were from would greatly cut down your searches. Regards Robert.

Greetings ,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Thanks, Vivian. You are now a member of the WikiTree community. Welcome!

Options for getting started:

Key Concepts:

1. Sourcing makes the difference between genealogy and mythology.

2. In order to build one collaborative tree, each person must have only ONE profile.

Let me or another Mentor Team member know if you have questions.
