Biography

Duncan McLeod Patterson was born on 4 Dec 1859 in New Brunswick, Canada, son of Walter Hay Patterson (1828 - 1912) and Mary Jane (Hillman) Patterson (1838 - 1908).

His brother was Robert Ellsworth Patterson (1865 - 1941).

Duncan married Sarah Arletta Patterson (1857 - 1929) on 14 Oct 1886 in Elm Wood Cottage, Woodstock, Carleton, New Brunswick. Their children were:

  1. Margaret A. Patterson (1888 - 1976)
  2. Amanda Sylva (Patterson) Grant (1890 - 1962)
  3. Alma Claricy (Patterson) Lenentine (1894 - 1977).

Duncan died on 11 Feb 1933 in Southampton, York, New Brunswick aged 73. He is buried in New Lenentine Cemetery, Middle Southampton, New Brunswick.[1][2]
