Four of Robert and Sarah's children were with Sarah at the time of the census in 1841 (see below). I have found baptism records from Appleton Wiske, Yorkshire, for these and three earlier children:

1. Robert's child Elizabeth Pattinson was baptised on 16 January 1803 in Appleton Wiske, Yorkshire, England.^[1]
2. Robert's daughter Mary Pattinson was baptised on 15 January 1809 in Appleton Wiske, Yorkshire, England.^[2]
3. Robert's daughter Jane Patteson was baptised on 31 March 1811 in Appleton Wiske, Yorkshire, England.^[3]
4. Robert's son Robert Pattison was baptised on 11 May 1813 in Appleton Wiske, Yorkshire, England.^[4]
5. Robert's child Ann Pattison was baptised on 5 March 1815 in Appleton Wiske, Yorkshire, England.^[5]
6. Robert's son Moses Pattison was baptised on 12 October 1817 in Appleton Wiske, Yorkshire, England.^[6]
7. Robert's child John Pattison was baptised on 29 September 1819 in Appleton Wiske, Yorkshire, England.^[7]

Several of the baptism records state that Robert was a weaver.

Robert's wife and four of their children, plus one grandson Robert Pattison (1838-), were in Appleton On Wiske, Yorkshire North Riding, England at the time of the census in 1841.^[8]
