Ellen "Ella" (Patton) Miller was born @1850 in Monroe, Virginia (now West Virginia) to Robert A and Emily Patton.

Simeon M. Miller and Ellen "Ella" (Patton) Miller married on January 6, 1870 in Monroe, West Virginia at the Patton home by J. H. Simpson. He was 26 and single. She was 19 and single.
