Biography

Early Life

Calidonia was born in July 1871 to James Paul and Mary Faircloth.

In 1880, her family owned a farm in Holmes County, Florida. She is one of four girls living at home. ^[1]

Marriage and Family

In 1889, John William Henderson and Callie Paul marry. ^[2]

In 1900, John and Callie appeared on the Census in McDades Pond with 5 children. John works as a mill hand. ^[2]

In 1901, her son, John, dies.^[3]

In 1909, the family lost two more children. Her daughter Maggie Irene died at 2 years old on December 2, 1909. Five days later, her five month old son, Almer died on December 7, 1909.

In 1910, the family lived in Laurel Hill, Walton, Florida on Florala And Laurel Hill Road. John now owns a farm and his son, John William "Bob" Henderson helps him work it. ^[4]
