Margaret was born in 1826, in the Colony of New South Wales, Australia, the daughter of George Paul and Sarah Dalton.[1]
Margaret married William Blake LAMBERT, 9 July 1849 at Brighton, Sussex, England.[2]
Margaret Isabella Paul and her husband William Blake Lambert (Civil Engineer: Assistant Chief Engineer in Portsmouth Dock Yards) were recorded on the 1851 census in Northumberland with son Sydney Paul Lambert aged 11 months. She was born in Sydney, New South Wales, he was born at Berwick on Tweed, and their son appears to have been born somewhere between the two locations (?Hamphin Southsea Bingh Sabjed?), but not where Ancestry.com transcribes. The Lamberts were visiting the Weatherhead family at Calf Close, Tweedmouth. Robert Weatherhead was Solicitor and Coroner for the borough of Berwick on Tweed.[3]
Margaret Isabella Paul and William Blake Lambert appeared on the 1871 England census at 3 Morden Road, Charlton, Kent, with daughters Tempest Isabella, aged 16, born in Southampton, and Vera Margaret, aged 8, who appears on the census as having been born in Russia."[4]
Margaret Isabella died 23 Oct 1876 at Berwick on Tweed.[5]
