Jimmy was born on December 28, 1929 in Washington, D.C. He was the oldest son of Edgar Paul and Hazel Bodle. As a baby, Jimmy and his parents lived with his grandfather, Lafayette Bodle.[1] They moved into their own home in Takoma Park, Maryland by 1940.[2] Jimmy never married or had children. He was supposedly a scientologist. Prior to his death, he lived with his brother Teddy in Silver Spring.[3] He passed away on December 17, 2002 in Silver Spring, Maryland.[4]
