William, sergeant at law, was the second son of Sir John Paulet of Melcombe.[1]
In about 1398 William married heiress Eleanor de la Mare, daughter of Philip de la mare of Nunney. By this marriage Nunney Castle came into the posession of the Paulet family. [1]
The Close Rolls of Henry VI: 1430 mention at least one child, a son John. The rolls also name Eleanor as a sister of Ellis Delamere. [2]
William died in 1435. [1]
