- Note: Could she have been married before? I think she had a daughter, Helena, from a previous marriage, who married Abraham Cornelius Fast. Her age is given as 61 in the 1835 census, suggesting she was born ca 1774. However the Helena who immigrated with Jacob Letkeman in 1818 was age 31 at that time, suggesting she was born ca 1786 per BDC microfilm T81 623, p. 419589. Was Jacob Letkeman married twice to different women named Helena or is one of the sources in error?
