Kind regards Wendy
I am pleased to confirm you as a member and welcome you to the WikiTree family. Your contributions will go a long way to joining the world’s trees together.
I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.
Please add as much information as you can, with sources, as it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.
Have fun collaborating on your ancestors
Wendy ~ WikiTree Greeter
P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.
I will request the team to merge these.
Kind regards Wendy
A merge is when there are two profiles for the same person, rather than a means to connect to ancestors.
If you are interested in adding to the tree in order to connect to your ancestors, you should add tags and volunteer. Tags are useful as they become clickable links to others researching those surnames that you are interested in.
You can do this by editing your tags/comments, adding a couple of sentences to your biography, or posting a brief message in the public comments section of your profile page. After that, click the ‘Save Tag(s) and Volunteer’ button.
Once we know you are here to help grow the tree, a greeter will be happy to confirm your membership. If you have questions about WikiTree, please feel free to contact me. To contact me, be sure to use the "reply" link for this comment so that I will be notified. You can also click my name to send a private message, or post a comment, on my profile page.
