Edward was born in 1726. He was the son of William Payne (1692 - 1776) and Alica Jones Payne (1686 - 1760), and husband of Ann Holland Conyers Payne (1728 - 1806). Edward Payne passed away in 1806, and was buried at Payne Family Graveyard, Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky.[1]
Edward Payne furnished supplies to the patriot army. [2]
