Ruth Eileen Baker, resident of Tulsa, moved from this life to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the age of 86.
Ruth was born September 21, 1929, in Sperry, OK to William Isaac and Martha (Edwards) Payne. She was raised and received her education in the Sperry-Turley area. On March 18, 1947, she and Owen R. Baker were united in marriage in Tulsa.
Ruth began in ministry by teaching women the Biblical principles of a strong, Godly family; and she ministered throughout the United States with this message. In 1978, Ruth and her husband Owen started their ministry as missionaries in the Caribbean Islands and Guyana. In 1980, they traveled to the Philippine Islands where they established Antioch Bible Training Center in Angeles City.
In 1988, Owen graduated to heaven. Ruth continued with the vision they had together in the Philippines.
