Hannah Paine was born 28 January 1656 in Braintree, Massachusetts.

She married Theophilus Curtis in Braintree on 27 January or 30 December 1673.[1] They resided in Braintree and had ten children, of whom six lived to adulthood and married. Theophilus died in 1710, after which Hannah lived for many years as a widow.

She died in 1742 at the age of 86 and was buried on 6 April 1742 in Braintree, Massachusetts.

  1. Paine (page 166) gives the date of marriage as 27 January 1673. Vital Records of Braintree (page 718) gives the date as 10m 30d 1673, an old-style date that corresponds to 30 December in the modern system.
