Biography

Samuel was born about 1745. Samuel Payne served as a private in the revolutionary war beginning in 1781 with Capt. Daniel Comstock. He passed away in 1813.[1] The source for his service in the Revolutionary War states he was born in 1733 in Connecticut and died in 1813 in Zanesville, Ohio which is not in Butler County.
