Phebe was born in 1772. She passed away in 1845.
Her husband was Birzavith Hopkins, b. 16 Dec 1766 at Hartford, CT, d. 3 July 1836 at Westfield, Chautaqua, NY, and was buried in the Old Presbyterian Burying Ground (which no longer exists). Phebe and Birzavith were wed 16 Feb 1791 at New Hartford, CT. Phebe is the daughter of WIlliam Payne, b. at new Haven, CT 10 Sep 1728, d. 1805 at New Hartford, CN.

(3) Falman/Alman/Zalman/Talman (variant spellings) Hopkins b.7 Feb 1800. (4) Elizabeth/Betsy Hopkins b. 10 Nov 1803. (5) WIlliam Payne Hopkins b.9 Sept 1807, d. 1878 at Sylvania. Lucas, OH. (6) Julia Hopkins b. 20 Dec 1809, d. after July 1890 at Sylvania, Lucas, OH. She married Mr. Roberts. (7) Alfred Hopkins b. 7 Aug 1813 at Stockton, Chautaugqua, NY, d. 3 April 1882 at Mexico, Audrain, MO. He married Diana Lamb Griswold.
There is another individual whose relationship is uncertain - Polly Hopkins b. 1808, d. 1876 at Slyvania, Lucas, OH. Polly was the spouse of Thomas Payne Hopkins and was not a child of Phebe and Birzavith.

1810 US Census Cazanova, Madison County, New York, Roll 28, page 734. In this census Birzavith Hopkins is enumerated as B Hopkins with a family of 9 which included 2 adults and 7 children. Alfred was not born yet. 1810 US Census Cazenova, Madison, New York, Roll 28, pg 738, Entry for "C Hopkins 1 male 45 and over, 1 female 45 and over." Caleb Hopkins was 71 years old, Mabel was 64.
1830 US Census Napoli, Cattaraugus County, New York, Series M19; Roll 85; page 227. In this census Birzavith Hopkins is enumerated with 3 persons in his family: 1 male 60-69, 1 female 5-59, and 1 male 15-19. This is himself-age 64, his wife Phebe-age 58, and his son Alfred-age 17. Alfred was the youngest child out of all his siblings.
