Jesse was a nurse, in the late 1920's via a ship went to China, she also did nursing in France 1940's, she was known as Auntie Irene to my Mum and Aunt, they say she was very stern. The last time they saw Auntie Irene was in England at my Aunt Joan's wedding, after that it is believed she and Uncle Jose went to live in Spain. My Mum, Grandmother, and Aunt Joan never heard from her again.
