Biography

Moved with father to Pomfret, CT; lived in Windham then in Norwich. According to his Great Granddaughter Mrs. Hontas Peabody Daniells* DAR Application: Asa Peabody was a patriot of Norwich, who assisted the civil authorities to prevent illicit trade with the British commissaries. He was born in Boxford; died in Norwich.

Asa Peabody and Mary Prentice Both of Windham were married on the 13th of July 1742
