Attorney Robert Peadro, one of the most successful lawyers of this county died Sunday morning at his home in Sullivan of uremic poisoning. He had been ill only a few days. He was born at Newport, Kentucky, in 1850 and when a small child came to Whitley township where he received his early education. He was a graduate of the Champaign University. For several years he taught school in this county.

He studied law with Horace Clark in Mattoon and was admitted to the bar in 1875.He hung out his shingle in Sullivan in 1880 in the high courts and his specialty was appeal cases. He leaves a wife and four children. The funeral was held Thursday.
