Jonathan Peake of Woodstock, yeoman died intestate and on 20 September 1744, his widow Mehitabel was granted the administration of his estate.[2][3]
In 1748, his son Lemuel Peak, minor age about 15 years, chose Daniel Paine to be his guardian.[4]
John Frissell was appointed guardian of his daughters, Lucy aged about 11 years old,[5] and Sabra, aged about 8 years old.[6] Daniel Paine was also appointed guardian of his son Thomas, age about 6 years old.[7]
