Note N1056Amarillo Globe-News (TX) - Thursday, December 20, 2007 Clifton Gene Pearcy, 66, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007.

Memorial services will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Mr. Pearcy was born Jan. 14, 1941, to Tommy and Viola Pearcy in Amarillo. He worked for the city of Amarillo for 25 years. Mr. Pearcy was one of the founders of Alsel Pool League and was on the board since 1991. Next to his daughter and grandsons, pool was the passion of his life. He played in all the leagues and practiced seven days a week with enthusiasm. He loved his many trips to Las Vegas.

Survivors include a daughter, Trish Henderson and husband Rex; two grandsons, Daniel Henderson and wife Melissa and Haeden Henderson, all of Amarillo; three great- grandchildren, Michael, Mariah and Junior; a brother, Lynn Pearcy and wife Jan; two sisters, Priscilla Gast and husband Tom of Amarillo and Lee Cox of Alaska; five nephews; and two nieces.
