He received a delayed birth certificate based on affidavit of Tee Willie Reid 16 Jul 1947, Affidavit of Neill Johnson 16 Jul 1947, American Life Insurance Policy #669131 1 Nov 1939, original office record of Dr. THos. D. Moore (Mps Tenn) 30 Jun 1936 and original marriage license record of applicant’s parents 15 Nov 1899.[1] [2]
In 1910, Welton D, 7, was living in Madson, TN with his parents, N.B, 27, and Lizzie, 37. He was born in TN.[3]
In 1920, Welton D, 18, was living in Claybrook, Madison, TN with his parents, N.B, 47, and Lizzie C, 47. It shows Welton is married but no wife in the household. He was a staff cottedge.[4]

In 1930, Welton, 28, was living in Madison, TN with his wife, Oneita, 26. Welton was 23 yrs at first marriage, Oneita was 21. He owned his house. He was a livestock farmer.[6]
In 1940, Bunnie, 8, was living in Madison, TN with his parents, Welton, 37, and Onieta, 36. Oneida’s widowed father Bunnie, 67, was also there. The family lived in Shelby, TN in 1935, Bunnie was living in Shelby, TN. Welton was a dentist and Bunnie was a farmer.[7]
Welton Pearson served in the military 30 Apr 1942-6 Sep 1947.[2] He was a LTC US Army in World War II.[8]
Welton D. Pearson died 21 Feb 1993 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, VA.[2][8]
I found an obit for Betsy Decelle Pearson Published in The Washington Post on Mar. 12, 2006.: "On Monday, March 6, 2006 of Potomac, MD. Wife of the late Welton D. Pearson. Mother of Elisabeth P. Waugaman (husband, Richard M. Waugaman, M.D.); grandmother of Adele M. Waugaman and Garrett D. Waugaman. Mrs. Pearson was a member of the Belgium Underground known as "La Resistance" during World War II. She was a high school French Teacher in the U.S. Friends will be received at the family home on Tuesday, March 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. A private family service and interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
