Roy was born in 1917. He passed away in 2004. A no-nonsense but lots of common sense grandpa who loved The Duke and owned every John Wayne movie ever made. He loved working on his farm with his dogs Butch and Magnum, killing snakes that terrified Charlotte and Blue Jays that bothered the song birds she liked. He built his own tractor and had blue Jay buses lined up by the back fence for storage. [1]
