Letitia Pearson, child of Harry Pearson & Annie Pearson, was born on 18 October 1913 ^[1] and baptised on 9 November 1913 in Chesterfield, St Mary and All Saints, Derbyshire, England.^[2] Her parents were Harry Pearson and Annie Swain, whose marriage was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1912 in the Chesterfield district.^{[3] [4]}

Letitia Pearson's marriage to Harold Lowe was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1935 in the Chesterfield district.^[5]

” CHESTERFIELD _ LOWE - PEARSON _ The wedding took place at St. Thomas's Church, Brampton, Chesterfield, on Saturday, of Mr. Harold Lowe, of John Street, Brampton, and Miss Letty Pearson, Holmebank, Ashgate Road, Chesterfield. Given away by her brother-in-law. Mr. D. Cartledge, the bride was attired in a dress of peach satin beaute with veil and coronet. She carried a bouquet of cream roses. The bridesmaids were Miss A. Lowe, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss E. Barnett, friend of the bride, and their dresses were of powder blue georgette with silver shoes and picture hats to match. Mr. J. T. Ryan was best man. A reception was held at the Miners' Welfare, Ashgate Road, Chesterfield.”
