Bertha (Pearson) Kressler, 88, of Belle Haven Nursing and Convalescence Home, Quakertown, formerly of Detweiler Avenue, Hellertown, died Tuesday, November 14, 2006[1] in her residence.
She was the widow of Robert H. Kressler (1915 - 1972). Born in Haycock Township, Pa. on January 28, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Erwin and Amanda (Martin) Pearson.
Bertha was a domestic worker for Kemmerer Museum, Bethlehem, for several years. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown, Sunday school teacher for 40 years, Board of Christian Education and various groups within the church.
Survivors: Two sons, Robert R. and his wife, Elizabeth,, Richard R. and his wife, Charlotte,; two brothers, Edward Pearson and his wife, Dorothy, of Springtown, Russell Pearson and his wife, Janet, of Lehighton; four grandchildren, Marcia, Robert Jr., Jill, Michael; five great-grandchildren, Sara, Kevin, Robert, Erik, Emma . She was predeceased by son, James Donald, sisters, Lucy Kressler, Mary Frankenfield and Anna Kattner.[2]
She is interred in the Union Cemetery, Hellertown, Northampton, Pennsylvania, United States of America[3]
