William Pearson (aka Persons) was born in 1757 to William and Mary (Jaquith) Pearson. Born in Massachusetts, he would serve in the Revolutionary War and then marry Hannah Pearson, the daughter of Samuel and Bridgett (Gray) Pearson, after serving in the war on May 17, 1781, in Milford, New Hampshire. Together they would have the following children:

Dennis Pearson (1794-1838)

William passed away in around 1836 at nearly 79 years of age.
In 1783, William’s father William Pearson, then of Duxbury School Farms in New Hampshire, purchased 109 acres in the township of Windsor, Vermont followed by a purchase of 52 acres in 1784. On 13 November 1793, William, Sr. conveyed these two properties to William Pearson, Jr. for payment of £100.[1]
