Biography
Walter Pearson was born in Yorkshire, England.
Walter was born in 1862.[1]
He was the son of Charles and Frances Pearson.
In 1871 he was living with his parents and siblings in Meltonby, Yorkshire.[2][3]
In 1881 he was a farm servant for James Coxon in Warter, Yorkshire.[4][5]
At the age of 26 Walter married 22 year old Edith Fleetham on 9 March 1889 at the Parish church in the Parish of North Dalton, Yorkshire, England, after Banns.[6][7][8] William Fleetham and Ada Frankish were the witnesses.
In 1901 he was living with his wife and seven children in Newton on Derwent, Yorkshire. Also in the household was his brother Charles Pearson and his wife Mary.[11][12]
In 1911 he lived in Yapham, Yorkshire.[13][14]
His wife died in 1927.
In the 1939 England and Wales Register Walter was living with two adult children Mary and George at Yapham Cottages, Pocklington, Yorkshire.[15]
He was buried in St Martin's Churchyard, Yapham, Yorkshire.[18][19]
Administration for his estate was granted on 21 April 1942.[20]
