Abigail Pease, Daughter of Ezekiel Pease and Hannah Chandler was born in 1749.^[1]

Notes

After a careful consideration of the many sources for John Sumner and Abigail Sumner the following facts stand out:

A different Abigail Pease birth date/location is 15 Mar 1748 Edgartown, Dukes, Massachusetts, USA married a John Sumner from Martha's Vineyard.

And another Abigail, probably not "Pease", maybe "Peak" as suggested in death records of her children, married the John Sumner from Spencer Massachusetts.

Abigail is a very common name. Sumner is also a very common name. No John Sumner is found in the Enfield town records. David Pease's Genealogy mentions husbands for all of Abigail's Sisters but does not suggest a husband for Abigail. It seems most likely that she either died young or never married.
