John was the eldest child and first son for Samuel & Mary (Parmelee) Peck

He married first Patience Doolittle, daughter of John & Mary (Fredericks) Doolittle, on 16 Nov 1752 at Wallingford, New Haven, CT

After the death of Patience, he married Jerusha Hall, daughter of Peter & Rebecca (Bartholomew) Hall, on 10 Jul 1755 - parents of Samuel, Patience, Jerusha, John, Mary, Asa, Levi, Roxana and a second Samuel
