Lina Pedersdatter Mitbo was born in 1752 at Majer farm in Østre Toten. Her parents were Peder Anton Christiansen and Christine Johannesdatter. The family emigrated to the United States (via Canada) in 1866.
In 1884, she married John Wold (Johan Andreasen) at Fergus Falls, Minnesota, United States.
Lina Wold died 1 Jun 1920 in Barron County, Wisconsin, United States.
