Niels Larsen Petersen was born on September 30, 1864, in Torslev (Han), Hjorring, Denmark. He was christened on December 18, 1863 in Torslev. His parents were
Peder Christian Larsen and Jacobine Sorensen.[1]
He married Ane Margrete Nielsen on December 28, 1888, at Torslev.[2]They immigrated in 1890 coming with his parents, Peder Larsen and Jacobine Sorensen to the United States.[3]
Anne and Niels had ten children. They were Peder, 1889; Albena, 1891; Christina, 1892; Chris, 1894; Andrew, 1896; Anna, 1898; William, 1902; William, 1903; Leona, 1906; and Leonard, 1907.[4]
He died on April 21, 1945, and was buried on April 23, 1945, in the St. John Cemetery, Exira, Audubon, Iowa.[5]
