Mary Jane Peebler was born on 14 Nov. 1830[1] in Illinois, USA.
She married Nathan A. West on August 6, 1848 in Jefferson County, Iowa.[2]
She and Nathan appeared on the census of 22 Sep. 1860 at Sangamon County, Illinois. They were living next to his brother William.[3] She and Nathan appeared on the census of 1 Aug. 1870 at Sublimity, Marion County, Oregon.[4] She and Nathan appeared on the census of 24 June 1880 at Nez Perce County, Idaho.[5] She and Nathan appeared on the census of 6 June 1900 at Tekoa, Whitman County, Washington.[6]
Mary died on 12 Dec. at Empire, Stanislaus County, California[7] and was buried at Plot: Bl 90 Lot 4 GR 5, Modesto Citizens Cemetery, Modesto, Stanislaus County, California. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone.[1]
