Family Obituaries
Mary P. Williams, daughter of Simon and Mary Turner, born in Greensville County, Virginia, June 7, 1818, was orphaned, she was raised by her uncle and aunt, Colonel Howell and Hannah Peebles, near Weldon, North Carolina. She married Rev. John S. Williams, Tennessee (Methodist) Conference, 9-2-1847. Died 6-22-1877.
Hannah Peebles, wife of Rev. Howell Peebles, died 3-19-1846, in the 76th year of her life. "Wife, mother, stepmother."
