Note N578After high school, Mildred attended training classes at Lowville which liscenced her to teach in the country schools for three years. She continued her education at Potsdam Normal School and received her master’s degree in education by attending summer school for several summers following.

She went on to teach for 13 years in the rural one room country schools before teaching for 28 years as a second grade Teacher at Lowville Central School. After that she did substitute teaching for four years. This brings her total to 45 years of teaching in Public schools.

She had told me she loved to garde.

She and Leo were divorced..

Mildred supplied me with much of her lines information in 2005. I owe a great gratitude to her for this.
