Elisabeth Gerarda Peek was born on 8 April 1851 in Abcoude-Baambrugge, Utrecht, Netherlands, to Gerritje de Rijk, age 28, and Arnoldus Peek, age 20.^[1]

She married Gijsbertus "Bas" van Oostrom in Abcoude-Baambrugge, Utrecht, on 9 January 1879 when she was 27 years old and he was 41 years old.^[2] They had 11 children in 12 years.

Gijsbertus passed away on 27 December 1899 in Abcoude-Proostdij, Utrecht, at the age of 62. They had been married 20 years.

Elisabeth died on 22 January 1919 in Abcoude-Proostdij, Utrecht, at the age of 67.^[3]
