Biography

Robert was born in 1896 in Putnam County, Tennessee;^[1] he lived in neighboring White County from an early age.^[2][3]

He was married to Nancy Mae Tollison in 1917;^[4] By 1930, they were living in Detroit, Michigan.^[5] Robert moved from Michigan to the vicinity of Ada, Oklahoma in 1932.^[6]

In 1978, he was married to Vallie Voyles (née Sliger) in Stratford, Oklahoma.^[6]

Robert died in a hospital in Purcell, Oklahoma in 1985, at the age of 89 years.^[6][7]
