Isabella (Peel) Boult was born in County Durham, England.

Isabella was born in Chester le Street, County Durham, England, in 1852.^[1] Her birth was registered in the second quarter. She was the daughter of Hugh Peel and Sarah Kinnair. She does not appear with the family in the 1861 census, but an Isabella Peel does appear as a boarder in the household of Ann Corr, Little Lumley (Registration District Chester le Street).^[2] She was enumerated residing with her parents and three siblings in 1871.^[3] She was nineteen, her marital status unknown, and no occupation listed.

Isabella married George Boult in 1878.^[4] The marriage was registered in the second quarter in Chester le Street. Isabella and George appear in the 1881 census ^[5] residing at Sixth Wood Pit Row, Lumley, Durham. Isabella's occupation, "Dress Maker", George's "Blacksmith, Local Methodist Preacher". In 1891, ^[6] Isabella was enumerated with her mother Sarah and siblings Hugh and Elizabeth at Sixth Pit, Great Lumley. A daughter, Lillie Boult, age four, also at residence. In 1901, ^[7] Isabella, George, and daughter Sarah E. were living in Chester le Street. (Daughter Lillie does not appear on census and George's occupation now "Insurance Agent"). George passed away sometime after 1901, Isabella and daughter Sarah Elizabeth appear in the 1911 census ^[8]residing in Chester le Street. Sarah is listed as a Widow with no occupation shown.

Isabella passed away in 1922.^[9] Her death was registered in the first quarter in Stockton.
