Biography
Joseph was born in 1844 in Derby, England. He was the son of Joseph (born Lazonby, Cumbria) and his wife, Hannah (born Sowerby, Yorkshire). [1][2]
At the time of his marriage to Louisa Cook in 1867, he was a resident of Beeston, Nottinghamshire. [3][4]
Louisa died in 1867. On the 1871 census, Joseph is a widower. [5]
In 1872, Joseph was married to 2nd wife, Emma Smith in Basford, Nottinghamshire, England. [6]
By 1881 the couple had 2 children, Thomas (9) and Emma Rebecca (2). [7]
