Marriage.[1]

Obituary.[2] Alexander Peets, 83, of 3 Emma St., died at 9:50 a.m. Sunday at Mercy General Hospital here after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Alphonsus Church. Burial was in St. Alphonsus Cemetery here. He was born at Mooers Forks Oct. 2, 1880, the son of Peter and Gladys Lesperance Peete. Mr. Peete was married twice. His first wife, Mary Wood Garlick, died at West Chazy. His second wife, Leopoldine Fauvel Sequin, died here in 1953. Mr. Peete had made his home in Tupper Lake for the past 25 years, and was employed at the Oval Wood Dish Corporation plant until his retirement. Surviving are five sisters: Mrs. Clara Patnode of Beekmantown; Mrs. Emma LaFountain and Mrs. Albina Mayou, both of Clinton, Mass.; Mrs. Flanda Nephew of West Chazy, and Mrs. Mary Rivard of Northampton, Mass.; one brother, Joseph Peete of Clinton, Mass., and several nieces and nephews.
