  • Obituary: Plattsburgh Press-Republican, Tuesday, 2 March 1954: Lyon Mountain: Frank Peets, 67, of East Rochester, N.Y., died here last night. He had been a guest at the home of his daughter. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m., at St. Bernard's Church, and the body will be placed in the vault at the church cemetery. Peets was born in Ellenburg, son of the late Frank and Amelia (Bruso) Peets. He is survived by his wife, Addie J. Trombley Peets, whom he married 47 years ago in this village. The couple has three children, Mrs. Richard Myer of Walworth, N. Y., Mrs. Richard Garrow of Lyon Mountain, and Edward Peets of Fairport, N.Y. Survivors also include a sister, Mrs. Carl Ashline of Merrill, N.Y., and three brothers, Prosper of Fairport, N.Y., and Dennis and Delor of East Rochester. P eets had recently retired from the MDT carshops in East Rochester. The body is at the home of Richard Garrow.
