Obituary: Plattsburgh Daily Press, Wednesday, 2 December 1936: Merrill: Mrs. Amelia Peets died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Ashline, Lyon Mountain after an illness of more than a year's duration. Surviving are five sons, Frank, Delor, Peter and Prosper of Rochester and two daughters, Mrs. Carl Ashline, Lyon Mountain, and Mrs. Albert Perry of Merrill, besides nieces and nephews and several grandchildren. The funeral was held Thursday morning November 26, at St. Bernard's Church, Lyon Mountain. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.

Frank Peets: Plattsburgh Press-Republican, Tuesday, 2 March 1954: Lyon Mountain: Frank Peets, 67, of East Rochester, N.Y., died here last night. He had been a guest at the home of his daughter. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m., at St. Bernard's Church, and the body will be placed in the vault at the church cemetery. Peets was born in Ellenburg, son of the late Frank and Amelia (Bruso) Peets. He is survived by his wife, Addie J. Trombley Peets, whom he married 47 years ago in this village. The couple has three children, Mrs. Richard Myer of Walworth, N. Y., Mrs. Richard Garrow of Lyon Mountain, and Edward Peets of Fairport, N.Y. Survivors also include a sister, Mrs. Carl Ashline of Merrill, N.Y., and three brothers, Prosper of Fairport, N.Y., and Dennis and Delor of East Rochester. P eets had recently retired from the MDT carshops in East Rochester. The body is at the home of Richard Garrow.
Laura Peets: Plattsburgh Press-Republican, Wednesday, 22 August 1979: Lyon Mountain: Mrs. Laura Ashline, 90, died Monday night at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital. She was born April 10, 1889, in Ellenburg Center, the daughter of Frank and Amelia (Bruso) Peets. She is survived by one son, Rollin of Moira Center; one brother, Prosper Peets of Red Creek; 14 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and three great- great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be at St. Bernard's Convent in Lyon Mountain from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Bernard's Church in Lyon Mountain. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Lyon Mountain.
Minnie Peets: Plattsburgh Press-Republican, Tuesday, 7 October 1952: Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Perry of Merrill, will be conducted this morning at nine o'clock at St. Bernard's Church, Lyon Mountain. Mrs. Perry, nee Minnie Peets, died Saturday the day of her 61st birthday, at her home in Merrill after a lengthy illness. Interment will be made in the church cemetery. Mrs. Perry is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Richard LaPointe of Plattsburgh; two sons, Francis of Merrill, and Cary Perry of Moira Center; a sister, Mrs. Laura Ashline of Merrill; and five brothers, Frank, Prosper, Dennis, Peter and Delor Peets, all of Rochester. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren.
